Canadian Hockey Team Roster is RELEASED! Let the games begin!
The Torino Olympics meant only heartbreak for Canadian hockey fans everywhere. The team finished in 7th place - a disappointing finish considering the sport literally runs in the veins of Canadians. Hopes are high, however, for Vancouver. The team will be playing on their home ice and will be desperate for gold in order to recover from the embarrassing finish at the last Olympics.
The roster was finally released a few days ago and already the debates and bets are flying. Some top athletes are missing from the list, including Jay Bouwmeester, Dion Phaneuf, and Martin St. Louis. Rather than trying to put all the best skill on the ice, the roster puts the best chemistry on the ice - players that will play well together in order to get the job done. Personally, I'm just brimming with pride that four San Jose Sharks are on the list! San Jo - you know!!
